XP is a Certified B Corporation - Technology for Nonprofits

We're a Certified B Corporation™

Becoming a certified B Corporation is a huge milestone for us. It's independent proof that when we say we exist to serve nonprofits, we mean the whole business; it's not just a sales pitch.

What B Corp™ certification actually means

B Corp is a certification for businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance.

It looks at how a company treats its people, its community, and the environment, how it serves its customers, and how it is governed. It is verified by B Lab, the nonprofit behind the standard, so it is an independent assessment rather than something a company can claim about itself.

For a nonprofit deciding who to trust with its systems and its data, that difference matters.

What B Corp certification means for the nonprofits we work with

We're committed to our values

Our commitment is to do good work for nonprofit organisations. B Corp certification means XP's commitment has been independently assessed against the same standard applied to thousands of purpose-driven businesses worldwide.

Operations that match our promise

The assessment covers governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. It is a standard you meet across the whole business, not a badge you buy.

An insight into how we work

The practices B Corp assessed are the same ones that shape how we deliver - transparent work, long-term relationships, and people who stay because they genuinely want to.

"We exist for global impact. If we cannot have an impact with our own people, how are we going to have it externally? The impact starts inside."

What the assessment covered

XP was assessed across five areas and cleared B Corp's 80-point bar:

  1. Governance
  2. Workers
  3. Community
  4. Environment
  5. Customers

A commitment, not a one-off

XP certified its entire international group under one certification, across New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and India - not just the easy local entity. The next recertification, about 12 months out, steps up to B Corp's tougher new standards.
